DELIVERY, REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
The Delivery Policy of our business requires customers to place orders on our website a day in advance. The orders are then processed and delivered on the next day. Customers can place their orders during our business hours for next-day delivery.
Deliveries are made in two slots, one in the morning and the other in the evening. The timings for delivery are between 9 am to 11.30 am in the morning and 6 pm to 8 pm in the evening. Customers can notify their preferred delivery times. We deliver orders all seven days a week, except on Poya days and special holidays. At present, we only deliver to selected locations in Colombo and its suburbs.
We make every effort to adhere to the delivery times indicated on our website. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot be held responsible for the consequences of late delivery or loss of packages. We may also reschedule or cancel deliveries due to heavy rain, floods, earthquakes, storms, or any natural disasters, as well as due to terrorism, labor strikes, lockouts, or boycotts.
Rest assured, we take our customers’ satisfaction seriously and will do everything in our power to ensure that deliveries are made promptly and efficiently.
Delivery charges are applicable based on the location of the customers. For all orders, a minimum delivery charge of LKR 100/- applies. MeatDeal.lk reserves the right to determine the delivery charges at its sole discretion and may change them from time to time without prior notice. It is advisable to review the delivery charges before placing an order to avoid any unexpected charges.
In case the customer has paid online while placing an order and there has been a complete cancellation or return of the products after delivery, the complete order amount shall be credited into the customer’s account within 15 days or customer can utilize the amount for future purchases.
In case the customer has paid online while placing an order and some of the items ordered has been cancelled at the time of delivery, the amount totaling to items that have been cancelled / rejected by the customer shall be credited into the customer’s account within 15 days or can be utilized for future purchases.
In both cases, customer can choose to have the amount paid refunded into the account by writing to [email protected] or notifying through a call.
The customer can cancel the order within 2 hours from the time the order has been placed or at time of delivery if the packaging has been tampered of damaged by us, wrong order being delivered or items missing from your order at the time of delivery. MeatDeal.lk also reserves the right to cancel an order placed by the customer in case the order cannot be full filled due to reasons such as unavailability of the stock, incorrect address, delivery address is outside our delivery zone, unable to contact you while confirming the order etc. In both the cases mentioned above, complete amount charged shall be credited into the customer’s account or can be utilized in future purchase.
